Adding Venues to Festival Pro

Make sure you are logged is as organiser.

To add a venue to Festival Pro we must first navigate to the Venues/Logistics Tab, then hover over venues and click add new.

Once inside the "add new venue" you will be able to add information regarding the venue.

Venue name is the name you will see for the venue throughout the system. 

The address information will automatically show underneath the venue in schedules sent from the system.

The first name, last name and email for the venue can be used to send venue schedules to the venue manager/Stage manager/Building Manager, whatever is relevant to the venue.


Next we have the fields specific to the venue, you can use the existing fields like "number of dressing rooms" but you can also add your own fields to the system which could be relevant to your own event. For example you may want to tag specific venues as large, medium or small in the system.


On new systems, you will see the boxes "Volunteer Location and "Performance Location". It is very important to check every venue with one of the relevant boxes or both. This will make the venues show up in the correct areas of the system. For example anything relevant to artists and performing would be a performance location and anything relevant to Volunteers would be volunteer location.



Once you have completed all of these steps you will be able to see venues throughout the system and begin to schedule on them.
