Article Summary

Field Options can be found when setting up or editing a field. In here you have the option to set some values specific to this particular field within a form.

Max Bookings - This is where you can choose the maximum number of bookings allowed across all registrations. For example if you have a counter field whereby you only have a limit of 50 tickets / items that you want to be available. When the total number of these counters reaches 50 across all registrations, this option will become sold out or unavailable.

Required fields - Changing this value to 'yes' will make this a required field on the form, it must be completed to be submitted.

Visability - You can here change the visability of the field on the form.

Visable - This is shown on the form

Visable Not Editable - This will show this field (plus the values if its got previously synched data) but not allow it to be changed

Hidden, Admin Viewable Only - Only logged in Festival Pro system users will be able to see this field

Sync data to - This is a very important field option. It will allow you to take this Form Field entry and sync it / insert it into a profile field. For example you may have a field called 'T-Shirt Size' on your form but you may want that data available to view in somebodies profile. Please see the entry on Syncing Form Fields To Profile Fields for more information on how to set this up.

Number of entries - You can use this field to limit and restrict the number of entries into this field that someone can make. For examaple you could use a Single Entry to only allow one. You may Specify A Number to set a hard limit. Or perhaps you wish to limit the number of entries by a profile field, in which case you can Choose to Max Specify by your chosen field. For example the header image on this page is limiting the field entries by by the number assigned to the user under General Accreditation.
