Festival Pro has a robust inbuilt invoicing system, which will generate and save invoices against a users profile whenever a transaction takes place via Stripe.  When visiting a company, artist, vendor profile page you will notice on the left hand side menu an item called Finance & Billing. Clicking this will give you a number of options in a popup menu 

Clicking the + icon will take you to the page to add a new Invoice/Quote.. whatever you may choose

The eyeball will take you to view the invoices/quotes etc.. related to this company. 

Upon clicking view you will see the results screen for these items. 

Viewing Invoices and Payments

On the results screen you can see a list of any invoices attached to this company and their status. In our example above we can see there are two invoices generated for free items and marked as paid, and an unpaid invoice in the middle for $180.  Clicking on the Reference number will give us more information about the invoice.  

This itemised invoice can be emailed using the gree email button at the bottom. You can also open PDF version of the invoice. 

To view any stripe payments attached to this invoice you need the blue Payments button.  

In this instance there are no payments made, as we saw in the invoice list earlier 

Mark Invoice As Paid

You could use the blue Credit button on the invoice list, but this is only usually best if it is an invoice you have created via Finance & Billing, rather than via a form. If your invoice is for something being charged on a form you should mark as paid manually on the registrations page of the related form. 

Creating Invoice

It is usually best to have an invoice automatically generate via a form. However if you do need to create an invoice for something that isn't going through a payment form, you can do this by clicking one of the orange buttons You have a choice of outgoing / incoming invoices. A quote, or a Purchase Order.

Viewing Stripe Transaction ID

If an invoice has been paid via a form, it will create a Stripe payment transaction under the blue Payments button we looked at earlier in this article. 

The stripe transaction reference ID associated with this invoice is displayed under Payment Method. You can also refund this via strip on the far right.
