Giving A Contact Accreditation

Article Summary

Accreditation

Accreditation is the process by which we assign passes or tickets to groups or individuals. These accreditation numbers can then be used to restrict the number of names people put down for tickets. For example you might issue a band 4 artist passes and 3 guest passes. Then collect those names and issue tickets via the artist advance. Or you may issue a contractor 30 staff passes, and they can go on to allocate those to their staff via the contractor advance.

Assigning Accreditation

You can access the panel pop up anywhere you see either the 'Scheduleimage.png' button info button  or the monitor icon  next to a contact and it will bring up the panel to begin editing. Within the popup then use the dropdown menu to select Accreditation and you will be presented with a list of passes to enter numbers against.

You can customise and change these pass names by logging into configuration and changing the options for General Accreditation under Profile Fields - > Accreditation.

Once you have assigned these numbers to your contact, it is time to send them a form to collect the names. By default our advance sheets come with the contact collection field for this task.

If you are setting up your own field for this on a new form, you need to choose the contact collect field type and generate a ticket against it. And ensure the number of entries is limited to the General Accreditation field.

When the form with this field is viewed on the Advance, Contractors Advance or whichever form you use to collect accreditation it will present to the user with a series of boxes to enter in the names and a chart to reference how many of each ticket they have been assigned to allocate.
