Managing System Users

You can edit your system users when logged into your configuration access type.

With the Users menu you can setup new Festival Pro users and manage existing ones. These are limited in quantity depending upon your package.

When you add a new user you will be given a screen asking you to create a username, password and input the personal details about the user you are adding to the system.

You can set their access level to one of 24 different user level types. For a detailed breakdown of what these have permissions to do and not do, you can click the Show Features for access levels link. You can also setup their primary and secondary User Groups.  Which group they are in will limit what companies can be assigned to them, and what production task manager projects they can be assigned within.

When you edit a user you will get the same screen as when adding a user, however it will be prepopulated with their current information for you to edit and update.

If you wish to view the system as if you are one of these users, you can click the Login button which will directly take you into their account. Useful if a staff member is away, but has an important bookmark on their account.

If someone forgets their password it can be resent to them here (as well as a new one set under edit) and you can also suspend somebodies access if the need requires.
