Testing Stripe Payments

Please note : Please only use this feature if you DO NOT have tickets or items actively on sale. This feature is more designed for running test payments before you go live or before you connect your own Stripe account. It will disable all current active payments when in test mode.

To turn on Stripe Test Payments, you should log into your config user account and head to the settings menu. 

Next head to the Accounts Tag and then look for the STRIPETEST field.

Once you enable this switch and click save at the bottom of the page, the Stripe Test Mode will enable. This means when you hit the end of a payment form and get the stripe payment box (which you will only see when you are not logged in as admin) - you will now be able to enter some 'test card' details as a dummy transaction.

At the end of the form so long as your payment options are set to take payment you'll have the PAY NOW option 

When you arrive at the card details you should enter

Card Number : 42424 42424 42424 42424

Expiry : Any future day such as 04/42

CVS : 424

You can enter anything for the nameholder and postcode

You will notice it says TEST MODE. You can submit this and it will register as a stripe payment on your system so you can test the entire process from start to finish.

Do not forget to turn this test mode off before taking live payments.
